Guy York is Airline Transport Pilot rated and type rated in Lear and Citation aircraft. He is an Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic with Inspection Authorization and has been factory maintenance trained on various Lear and Cessna / Citation  airframes.

Guy is the Director of Aviation for a company operating jet aircraft based out of Nashville, TN. Prior to relocating to Nashville, Guy served as Chief Pilot of a textile company in Alabama for 19 years operating turbine and jet aircraft. After relocating to Nashville, he served as a line pilot, instructor and check airman for a FAR 135 company operating Lear 45s. Guy has also served as a Certified Senior Aircraft Appraiser providing valuations on piston, turbine and jet aircraft for lending institutions. He was appointed as president of a municipal airport board in AL. Guy currently serves on the board of directors for the Tennessee Business Aviation Association. 

Guy has a vested interest in business aviation and it has been the focal point of his aviation career. He has been actively involved in corporate aviation, aircraft maintenance, aircraft sales and flight department management. Guy has 35+ years experience in the aviation industry and has accumulated over 9500 hours of flight time.

Guy started York Aviation Services in 2008. He has assisted clients in all aspects of business and personal aviation.
